How does the function switch work?
Each switch position corresponds to a specific application.Users can set the function switch according to the instruction manual.The controller typically supports the following three main applications:
Water supply controlled by liquid level, using a liquid level probe or float switch
Water supply controlled by pressure, using a pressure switch and pressure tank
Drainage controlled by liquid level, using a liquid level probe or float switch

1.Over-temperature ProtectionPrerequisite: A temperature sensor must be embedded in the pump at the factory to enable this protection function.
Protection principle:The pump generates heat during operation. When the temperature exceeds the preset threshold, the LEADING controller will detect an over-temperature condition, stop the pump immediately, and display "Over-temperature Protection" on the LCD.Once the issue is resolved or the temperature returns to the normal range, the controller can restart the pump automatically.
2.Leakage ProtectionPrerequisite: A leakage sensor must be embedded in the pump at the factory to enable this protection function.
Protection principle:When the controller detects water ingress into the pump chamber, it will activate leakage protection, stop the pump, and display "Leakage Protection" on the LCD.The pump can only be restarted after the fault has been repaired.
3.Motor Stall ProtectionThe pump motor fails to start or stops running due to mechanical failure or improper operation, such as overload, foreign objects jamming the impeller, or shaft rusting.Under stall conditions, the motor speed drops to zero while torque is still being output.

Instead of responding to these unstable signals immediately, the controller will monitor the liquid level within the preset filter time delay.Only when the liquid level remains consistently above or below the trigger point for the set duration will the controller activate or deactivate the pump accordingly.
