Operation Of A Duplex Control Panel

 

The standard setup for the duplex control panel involves three floats, namely PUMP OFF, PUMP ON, and HIGH-LEVEL floats. The PUMP OFF float controls the pumps' operation; once the liquid level drops to a certain threshold, the pumps turn off. The PUMP ON float activates the pumps when the liquid level rises above a specific level, while the HIGH-LEVEL float signals the panel to sound an alarm when the level reaches an alarming point.

The control panel is designed with an efficient and reliable feature - an alternating relay. This serves a crucial role in ensuring that the system operates smoothly and consistently. During automatic operation, the alternating relay switches between PUMP 1 and PUMP 2 after every cycle, ensuring that there is no unnecessary strain on either pump.
